'Nurse Alma, have you already visited Elisabet Vogler? Not yet? Well…
it doesn't matter. We'll see her together. At least I can introduce
you. I'll tell you briefly what happened to her, and why I have chosen
you to be her nurse. So, Vogler is an actress, and, as you know, her
last role was in Electra. In the second act she suddenly went dumb,
didn't react to the prompt, she became fully dumb for a minute. (…)
The next morning, when the housekeeper entered Mrs Vogler's room, she
found her still in bed, she was awake but didn't answer the
housekeeper's questions, she didn't even move. She's been in this state
for three months now. She's been through all kinds of examinations you
can imagine, and the result is clear: she is as fit as a fiddle. Did
you want to ask something, Nurse Alma? No? Then you can go and see her.'

The group is one of the youngest non-professional theatre groups in
Hungary. Its members graduated at Horváth Mihály Secondary School in
Szentes, and have been involved, in different ways, in doing theatre
since. |
