Dance Therapy, which is a sequel to Group Therapy, brings dance and the
dancer’s personality and physique in focus. The choreographer also
studied various dance and rhythm therapies.
The approach is contemporary and modern, with contemporary music, film
and video technology given a great role to play, and movements and
choreography transposed into everyday life. The choreographer shows the
human beings with their multifaceted characters, frailties and
yearnings for love, in a dramatic and grotesque manner at the same
time. The piece is performed by the permanent members of Bozsik Yvette
Company, to music composed especially for this piece by Jean-Philippe
Heritier, contemporary Swiss composer. |
