Just Like the Blessed Virgin but with an Unscrewable Head
This solo piece originates from an earlier performance Nail Polish that
premiered at Veszprém Dance Festival last year and told the story of
three women. Just Like the Blessed Virgin but with an Unscrewable Head
features Martina Kovács, who has been a member of La Dance Company
since its foundation, meanwhile she graduated from the Academy of Drama
and Film as an actress. The performance choreographed and directed by
Andrea Ladányi is an adaptation of dance and prosaic theatre elements.
6913
In ’6913’ La Dance Company presents a dance technique different from
their usual style. Similarity and difference rise between the four
figures on stage evoked by the anti-podal and completive presense of
the three dancers and one actor. ‘6913’ is a lyrical, sensitive and
proportional composition.
