There is such a thing as theatre day and night. Up and down. Even if 'there is no point'. Even if 'it is impossible'. Even if 'there is no reason'. Maybe. In a fictional (?) future, in a 'fateless' country, a young company rehearses, and tries to survive. They are rolling a stone in that world, like Sisyphus, to challenge its purposelessness... Because in this fictional future, which naturally has nothing in common with our present, why would we need theatre anyway? Or do we need it? In any shape or form?
The third-year students of the University of Kaposvár write, direct and perform even when they do not study. All the time and everywhere. In class, on rehearsal, in their free time, outside, at night, at dawn, whenever and wherever there is space and opportunity. At festivals, in different venues, and now in Szeged. Their multilayered story takes place in the year 2016 and is about will (free will, that is), strength, meaninglessness and theatre-making (are these the same?).
