Arabesque is about hopeless love, that is, about love as such, since all requited love is not more
than two people’s hopeless love towards each other. An adolescent and his father, without knowing
it, fall in love with the same woman. The inhabitants of the small town consider the woman a
courtesan, however, father and son are convinced that she is an angel sent from heaven. Their
attempt to save themselves and each other fails, nevertheless, seventeen years later the three
people accidentally meet in a nightclub. |
