Festival in the Air!
THEALTER Radio on Radio Mi - FM 89.9 MHz and www.radiomi.hu!
Radio Mi is the youngest and also the first free civil radio station in
Szeged. Broadcast started in March 2005 in the most populated areas of
the town on FM 89.9 MHz as well as on the net on www.radiomi.hu.
The radio station was primarily started by the ‘Itt Szeged’ Association
in order to provide an opportunity for the young people of Szeged to
speak and to be spoken to. It airs a wide range of musical styles and
programs on several themes and topics including culture and theatre:
during the THEALTER festival, the Radio Mi team will broadcast a live
show ‘THEALTER Radio’ every day from 1-2 p.m. and 4-5 p.m. from one of
the festival venues, Grand Café. The talk shows will cover the
performances of the festival, discuss the art of acting and directing
and their experimental forms as well as attempt to answer some eternal
questions of theatre.
