Colibri Studio: Klamm’s War - -

27. Sunday 18:30     Vasvári Voc. School

Confessions of a teacher from the depth of the trenches in the school-fields of war, going down.
We recommend our performance to secondary school classes, to present day, past and future students and teachers as encouragement, for all that.
The stage is not a built set, but reality surrounding us. The performers have to create the sacredness of theatre here, the artistic world which condenses and mirrors reality.

’School is, has always been and will always be, constraint. And both teachers and pupils jointly owe their existence to this constraint.’
(from the play)

Kai Hensel’s German Youth Theatre Prize winning monodrama is an exciting psychogram investigating the causes of violence in a system characterized by dependence and suppression. Kolibri Theatre also aimed at introducing the new genre of ’theatre in the classroom’ in Hungary.
