THEALTER Radio - Radio Mi, FM 89.9
THEALTER Radio is broadcast on the frequency of Radio Mi for the fifth year: reports, interviews, impressions every afternoon from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. on FM 89.9 and on the internet at www.radiomi.hu. The radio’s temporary studio is in the yard of the Old Synagogue, but the reporters may appear anywhere with their microphones during the festival to inform listeners live on the latest events. For the first time this year, THEALTER Radio presents a continuously updated blog with photos, voices and letters at http://thealter.radiomi.hu.
Radio Mi is the only free civil radio station in Szeged, and as such, it is an excellent field for experiment and for the prompt realization of sudden ideas. Those who take on to make a show in this radio also take on not to hide behind the increasingly fashionable media clichés. They have to speak, if you like, they have to go up on a virtual stage as long as they have a reason to speak and an audience to talk to. And why wouldn’t they have?
