“This play, to me, represents an interior battle. A fight that lays in Nature and the nature of mankind, which is altruist yet revengeful, which can love unconditionally, yet hate with the wildest anger, which can give life and take life in the same time. With an open structure, the performance aims at firing a question at the audience: Do we have free will, or are the surroundings locking us up? It does not follow the original line of the play (Euripides’ Medea) but the audio-visual and metaphoric sequences successfully convey the depth of the story.” (Noémi Bezsán)
Based in Târgu Mureș, Romania, this independent company was founded in 2014 by actor, choreographer and professor Lóránt András and the senior choreography majors of the university. They have performed successfully at several festivals in Romania and Hungary. Their main venue is a former orthodox synagogue, which they plan to convert into a performing arts centre.
