„Una nina me decia, Negrito, porque no cantas? Port que tengo en mi garganta Una gran mamposteria.”
Tibor Szemző is one of the most important Hungarian contemporary musicians, a media artist, performer and the founder of Group 180. In his works, he is primarily interested in the coherence of the spoken word, sounds and instrumental music, and the matching of their different layers. This evening they are going to show the film Cuba shot in the 80s and his latest composition, >K<Engravings, whose film material was shot in the seven countries where Kafka’s last friend and last lover lived. Kafka’s letter, A Message from the Emperor, is recited in several languages, presenting Kafka’s universe uniquely, with the help of music, films and the spoken languages.
