Ghent, Belgium, at the beginning of the 90s. The writer Bernard van der Wiele is accused of murder, but does not understand why he is detained. The hearing brings no results until he is given a typewriter, an Olivetti 82, the same type he started writing his first book on. And again, typing starts a stream of words and memories. Bernard recalls his derailed life. Flemish author Eriek Verpale’s on-stage monologue makes the audience face the faith of a man who committed the sins of murder and incest.
