The legend of Saint George is one of the most popular themes of religious heroic poetry, which features both the mythical hero and the figure of the saint. The legend is of great significance in the traditions of various countries, since it recalls the eternal questions of human life. In this puppet show accompanied with music, the performers combine the stridency of puppet shows performed at fairs and the music of minstrels evoking the medieval East. Since 2012, the performance has been a great success at open-air festivals, village days and religious fairs in the country.
