“With his coffin on his back, he tripped and lay in it.” The eerily
exciting story of Count Dracula, the blood-drinking vampire is about the
wandering Hungarian boy seeking his ways. With different puppet
techniques, the performance evokes the life of Hungarian-born actor Béla
Lugosi, the most famous Count Dracula on film, who died 60 years ago.
The manipulator/puppeteer washes his social, artistic and personal roles
off the dead Lugosi to see what is under.
