Directors Ferenc Sinkó and Leta Popescu created the world of the performance with the stories and experience of performers Lucia Mărneanu and kata bodoki-halmen as starting points. The overwhelmingly provoking performance talks about the body, sexual identity, resistance and tolerance. Moving bodies, drag-show, original songs and live mixed music create a dynamic and gripping performance. In 2014, Leta Popescu and Lucia Mărneanu received the Debut Award of the Romanian Association of Theatre Artists (UNITER) for Parallel. The performance also received the Special Award of the Jury and the Award for Best Set and Costume at Atelier Festival in Sfântu Gheorghe, Romania.
