Elena Shtykova is a talented member of Derevo, who creates her own dance performances, too. Tula was the capital of the ancient Toltec civilization in Mexico. An imaginary world appears on the stage, with unique movement and choreography so characteristic of the ‘Derevo school’, accompanied by exciting stage design and beautiful, mysterious music.
In the past years, Elena Shtykova has performed at festivals in Germany, Poland and Russia, and participated in a number of international co-operations. Nowadays, she has also been teaching children in her own movement studio in Moscow.
