Two Room Apartment is a reinterpretation of a groundbreaking dance performance from 1987, which was a milestone in independent Israeli choreography. Both personal and political, it examines boundaries in various contexts: on one hand physical borders such as between territories or between two rooms, and on the other hand it looks into non-physical, theoretical borders such as the one between life and performance, between the public and the personal, and between artistic “processed” material and authentic behaviour. Two Room Apartment, chosen as Best Performance of the Year by the Israeli Dance Critics' Circle in 2013, both pays great respect for the heritage of the original work and stands out as a contemporary dance piece.
