Our story takes place in Szechwan, far from here, so those problems do not affect us. What is more, the play was written in 1940. And that is over now. The author is German. What do we have to do with him? Probably nothing. So we suggest our respected audience that they should sit back, enjoy this old little tale, laugh a lot, then go home, go on with their petty lives where they left it and not even bother to think about making a change.
k2 Theatre was established in 2010 by theatre students at the University of Kaposvár. In the last couple of years, several younger students, stage designers, managers, etc. joined the group, which has now moved to Budapest, and is going to start the next season as an independent company with permanent members.
