In music an étude is a pedagogical composition designed to provide practice material for perfecting musical skills, but there are also valuable concert études of significant importance. In cinematography, études evoke the emotional and mental content and atmosphere of a short action. In painting, it is a study or sketch, that is, a temporary approach of the content and form of the theme.
This short puppet etude is about longing, about the desire to get to the sea. So what do you do if you have a day off at the beach?
