The Greek, Latin and Renaissance poets paid a tribute to Eros with a wide range of darkly shining, wonderful, erotic, pornographic and obscene poems. The mysterious and burning wish for freedom is the main object of their strictly formulated verses. Double Penetration represents the freedom and boldness of these poems and the road from the naked soul and body to the desired other. What we see on the stage is an intoxicating chaos of feelings and bodies, and a wild mixture of genders, while Eros is watching and laughing in silence at what he has caused to the mortal human beings with his arrows.
