In pre-election period, the mayor of the village calls a policeman to investigate into his rival’s corrupt transactions. The policeman belongs to the majority of the country’s population, but in the village, he is a member of the minority. Finally, the “auditor” does not only reveal the enemy’s strange businesses. This episode of Csaba Székely’s trilogy about life in far-away Romanian small villages focuses on corruption and xenophobia.
