The performance is based on two folk tales and Tolstoy’s story about the gigantic turnip. The young actors play music, sing folk songs and move their puppets. The tales are told by an old hag, and the magic happens on a table with a village where the puppets live. The actors move around the table completing the puppet show with their gestures. In the meantime, the turnip ripens and the actors try to pull it with the help of the children present.
