The presentation shows the result of a workshop with Roma children and family members between 23-27 July, led by Géza Tóth and Gyula Horváth, as part of the project Let Them Play. Entry is free.
Let Them Play aims to improve equal opportunities within the Roma community in Szeged. The first phase during the festival involves a six-day workshop in which participating Roma children, with the supervision of experts, will adapt a tale and present it to family, friends and those interested at the end of the festival. The partners of MASZK Association/THEALTER festival are Caravan Art Foundation and Szeged Roma Self-Government, the main supporter of the project is EEA/Norway Grants. The project continues in the autumn of 2013.
